Yountsville – Mrs. Doris Stevens, 80, of Rt 3, Crawfordsville died at 11:55 p.m. Friday in Golden Manor Nursing Home, Ladoga. Born near Elmdale, she had resided in the Yountsville community most of her life. Her marriage was in 1923 to Raymond Stevens. He died April 25, 1983. Mrs. Stevens was amember of the former Yountsville United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Marion Stevens of Rt 3, Crawfordsville; one daughter, Mrs. Homer (Marie) Cox of Waveland; two brothers, Jefferson Swank of Dover, Ind and Olin Swank of Waveland. Also three sisters, Mrs. Fay Gardner and Mrs. Edna Alee both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. V Oliver of Lafayette. – kbz
